British but Spain has been home since he was 12 years old. Growing up bilingual not only in speech but also in thought Philip’s natural creativity & entrepreneurial flair soon started him searching for “offbeat” ways to make a living and have fun.

Music was a first love & in his early twenties Philip was promoting the 1st ever Stevie Wonder concert in Spain and went on to promote major stadium concerts with the likes of Queen, Tina Turner, Genesis, Rod Stewart as well as running smaller international bands through the university cities of Southern Spain. Lot’s of stories to tell, but alas he’s the king of discretion.

In the 1992 Universal Expo in Sevilla, employed by the Spanish Government, he organised the main music & live events after which he joined his brother’s production service company learning the ropes from location manager to producing.

Philip started goodgate Spain in 2003. After producing a 12 day shoot all over South America for a German client, he opened goodgate Argentina in 2006, followed by Chile in 2012 & Lisbon in 2016.

The secret is finding the right people with the right motivation he says “put that together & the rest follows”.

Alexandra Chamberlain has been working her magic for a solid decade or two… okay three, as Exec. Producer, Head of Production & Bid Producer for top US production companies.

Through years of experience, she has extensive knowledge in planning a successful production, starting with a comprehensive bid, then gathering the right team and crew to make it happen.  She remembers well, that when faced with overseas productions, lots of assurances needed to be made.

Ariadna Llovet – having lived and worked in Spain, Argentina, Mexico and Ecuador, Ariadna is truly an international producer.  She has managed productions in all of our territories; always upholding a project’s creative ideals with positive energy and enthusiasm for the process.  Her gift is great communication, managing expectations and delivering a great shoot for our clients.  When she is not producing, Ariadna uses her years of experience to put together concise budgets and plans for upcoming productions worldwide.

Inma Fernández – our amazing CFO, with years of experience in production accounting, project oversight and planning. Inma creates a healthy financial vision for all our endeavours and is adept in the world of tax credits/rebates, for our long format clients.  She has circled all production departments over the years, attending shoots on location in Europe and Central & South America. Her appreciation of how things come together into a successful production, came from working side-by-side with each department and witnessing first-hand, the challenges of production on a tight schedule and budget. With her impeccable accounting skills, she is the backbone, supporting any production team.

During his studies for Photography in California, Cyril got asked by a friend to light his graduation feature film. Being on a student film where teamsters were falling like flies on 20hs days, he also started to grip, record sound, drive, set-dress …
After his first set experience, he got hooked for life.

Before returning to native Germany, he worked on multiple features in Los Angeles as a Gaffer.
From 1996 on, he has been busy producing commercials, music videos, documentaries and content worldwide, since the early 2000s mainly from Berlin.

He has been working for international top brands with all the big production houses and sometimes also on Agency-side.

Cyril has double nationality (German/French) and is fluent in in German, French, English & Spanish.

He met Philip on his first shoot in Argentina in the 2006 and has since kept a close workbond.
In 2022 he moved to Buenos Aires to be closer to his family, of whom a big part lives in Argentina since the mid 1900s.
